Where Bloggers Create 2011 - My Vault

Hello friends! I am pleased to be participating in 2011 Where Bloggers Create hosted by My Desert Cottage. First off, let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Breana and I love to create jewlery out of vintage and re-purposed elements in my spare time. I love hunting for unique items to incorporate into each piece and definately consider myself a treasure hunter. My studio (which I always call "the vault") is located in our basement under stairs storage area. I have made the best of this area considering the circumstances. There are no windows in my vault so some of the pictures might have a bit of camera flash due to no natural lighting. I love my vault, its is a place where I can retreat to and be surrounded by the things I love. I love all things vintage and especially have a thing for vintage religious relics.     What a gorgeous comfy space you have made for yourself. I am drooling over your beads. Love that you have a name for your dress form companion. The Vault seems to be an excellent name for a space so full of rare treasures.

    Hi Breana oh how I love your vault!! So many awesome storage ideals! I really like the glass jars in the vintage mirror with the glass shelves! You have so many pretty things! I do love your crow though! My most favorite bird!! I have a crow in my room too!! LOL not so big though!! LOL Thanks so much for sharing!! XO Fran.

    Hello Breana! So happy you came to my work place and introduced yourself... i just adore your vault! Very cozy and nookey and so much eye candy! Your jewelry is beautiful too, you are obviously very creative! Love the bead displays, especially the gilded case... how lovely! I am signing up as a follower and look forward to seeing your beautiful creations! I also love that you rescue kitties! I do not know if you had time in perusing my blog to see that my husband and I run a charity for abandoned and feral kitties. We care for about 60 at the moment so I am so happy to see your babies! Thank you!
    Also LOVE the barn doors!!! I would have snapped them up so fast!!!!! I could see them as a head board or hinged into a screen or with hooks on them for hanging bits. Or mount them on the wall on either side of a doorway like shutters I would keep them the color they are, just clean them... oh how fun! So thank you for inviting me in, I have had a blast and will be back!
